Mamas For Mamas

The notion of service within EO Healing was further realized this year with our partnership with the Vancouver location of Mamas for Mamas. Veerpal, the founder of EO Healing is a mother of two. Veerpal understands and empathizes with the journey of motherhood; one which may benefit from a gentle helping hand every now and then.

Mamas for Mamas is a national charitable organization supporting mothers and caregivers in crisis. They provide ongoing support to struggling individuals and families. As stated in their vision, they “envision a future where no mamma or child is left behind.”

Mamas for Mamas has two established programs within their Vancouver location: Vancouver at risk comprehensive program and Vancouver sustainable nourishment program. EO Healing will be focusing on the former.

EO Healing will be involved with three different umbrella programs within the Vancouver at risk Comprehensive Program:

  1. Karma Market
    • What is it?
      • a market where mamas can grab daily essentials (Hygiene items, self care items, food and clothes)
    • How are we helping?
      • EO Healing will be donating products for the market.
  1. BC Children’s Hospital Program
    • What is it?
      • Mamas to Mamas steps in to help families brought to BC Children’s Hospital from all over BC. The reason for the admission varies by family as does the need. This program offers financial assistance where needed and creates and delivers care packages (some items that may be included: toiletries, clothing, grocery, baby clothes, diapers) to the families.
    • How are we helping?
      • EO Healing will be involved in making care packages for the parents.
  1. Donation Program (Mother in Crisis)
    • What is it?
      • The mother in crisis program aims to fill gaps with a hand up not a hand out. They provide mamas and families with access to basic needs to ensure children are living in a healthy and safe environment. Some of the assistance may include: food, clothing, shoes, medical interventions, diapers, wipes, required baby items, money to pay rent and utility bills.
    • How are we helping?
      • EO Healing will be collecting funds on an ongoing basis in store for their Vancouver location.
